What does Advanced Millworks manufacture?
We manufacture custom stair nosings, stair treads, chevron and herringbone components, custom parquet, moldings, transitions, and specialty millwork.
Who do you work with?
We work with flooring manufacturers, distributors, dealers, contractors, installers, builders, designers, and homeowners. Homeowner orders may require coordination with the flooring professional or installer responsible for final specifications.
How are your stair nosings different?
Our signature stair nosings are manufactured from the same prefinished engineered flooring material selected for the project. The visible surface therefore begins with the flooring's actual factory finish rather than a separately stained attempt to match it.
Can every flooring product be made into a stair nosing?
We aren't ones to say no to any challenge. There are certain requirements for each job, we review the product information and specifications before confirming an order.
Ordering & Delivery
Do I need to supply the flooring?
Yes. Most orders use customer-supplied flooring so the components can be made from the exact product selected for the project.
How much flooring material is required?
The amount depends on the product, usable board yield, length, width, profile, quantity, and manufacturing waste. We confirm the required material after reviewing the order.
Can I drop off material without an appointment?
No. A purchase order must be in place and the drop-off must be scheduled before material is delivered. Standard receiving hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
What information is required for a quote?
Provide the product type, quantity, dimensions, profile, material manufacturer, collection, color, SKU, required date, jobsite city, and any drawings or photographs. More complete information produces a more accurate quote.
